Construction technology students work towards industry certifications

Students enrolled in Construction Technology classes at South San High School are well on their way to earning industry related certifications. Some of the classes include construction management and civil engineering. These classes will prepare students for the work force and/ or for college.

 About Career and Technical Education (CTE) Pathways

South San Antonio High School is proud to offer 19 Career and Technical Education (CTE) Pathways.  The CTE department focuses on equipping students with the skills they need for 21st century professions.  Students choose a course of study designed to prepare them for a 2-year, 4-year, or technical college. In addition to their high school diploma, students are also eligible to complete programs that award them with advanced certifications, industry training, and internship and career-field experiences. South San High School offers House Bill 5 endorsements including STEM, Business & Industry, and Public Service.
