Architecture and Construction Students Build a Storybook House at the Botanical Gardens

Our South San Antonio High School Advanced Architecture Design taught by Angelica Ramos, Millworking taught by Conrad Antoon, and Welding, taught by Joe Palma, students built a storybook house at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens during the last two weeks of February. Ernest Guerrero submitted a winning design last Fall and the exhibit will be on display through July 10th.  Some of the students were interviewed by the San Antonio Express News and the San Antonio Current and articles circulated on Thursday March 10th (Express News) and on Wednesday March 16th ( SA Current) for all to see. South San Antonio High School was the only high school to enter the contest and their win is one of only five selected out of seventeen entries. The other entries were all designed by local architecture, building contractors, and design firms. Congratulations students for a job very well done.
