What is Science? Science is the study of exploring the physical and natural world through observation and experimentation. If you think about it, everyone is a scientist from the day their born. Toddlers are constantly trying to understand the world around them. Similarly, a professsional scientist is constantly trying to understand  the world around them as well. To quote one of the greatest scientific minds, "Every kid starts out as a natural-born scientist, and then we beat it out of them. A few trickle through the system with their wonder and enthusiasm for science intact." - Carl Sagan. One of my biggest goals as your science teacher is to replinish the natural curiousity you once had as a child. The world is full onf wonder waiting to be discovered and explored. In my class, you will acquire the scientific tools needed to explore the world and all its wonder! Science is awesome.
