    The future begins today…

My name is Lorena Dominguez. This is my 12th year working in Head Start and my 6th year teaching in the district. I am the grade level chair for Pre-K and I am also the assistant cheer coach for the Kindred Tiger Cheerleaders.  I graduated from South San High School in 2005 and received my Bachelors of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University in San Antonio in 2011. Go Jaggies! I have 2 beautiful kids (a baby princess and a little prince) and recently got married in November 2017! I love working out, playing volleyball, and spending time with my family. Empowering little minds is my passion. In Pre-K we don’t just play, we develop essential skills for life and become lifelong learners! I look forward to what this upcoming school year has in store for us and cannot wait to build a strong foundation with my powerful little learners so they will be college and career ready!

    We keep moving forward,

    opening new doors

    & doing new things,

    because we’re curious

    and curiosity

    keeps leading us

    down new paths.
