Hi my name is Aurora Valderas. I am a registered nurse and a graduate of the Baptist School of Nursing in San Antonio, Texas. I was born in Portugal, and moved here in 1983.

I have proudly served our district for 10 years, after 17 years of working for the Baptist Hospital System.

I have two children both of which have attended South San Antonio ISD schools. My daughter is a South San High School graduate class of 2010. She graduated from St. Mary's University and currently employed with USSA as a Computer Engineer. My son is currently attending South San High School at the Academy of Health Science.  I have been married to my wonderful husband, Russell for 23 years.
