Mr. Weber's History Class
My name is Mr. Weber and I will be teaching World Geography and World History. I will be available every Monday and Friday for tutoring from 8:30 to 3:30. If there is anything I can do to help, please feel free to reach out to me by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
During the COVID-19 at home instuction, we will be using both Nearpod and Google Classroom. All Nearpod access codes will be posted at least two weeks in advance. On Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, you will have either a small group assignment or an independent assignment which will be due at the end of of the day. Tuesdays and Wednesdays - Nearpod access code will be posted and we will meet as a class to go over content, collaborate, and participate in adventures to far off places. You will be required to participate in group discussions, Kahoots, Climbs, open-ended questions, and virtual field trips. We will continue to follow this format until we are able to resume at the campus for regular instruction. At that point, the instruction will change to more of a project-based learning style driven by technology and collaboration. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you and remember, I'm here to help.
