I expect Shepard Theatre Students to cultivate their craft with discipline and zeal. We will work diligently and respectfully to best execute and support every role in the theatre, from the audience to the center stage.
This year may be different than anything we have seen before, and we are ready for that challenge. Together, we will continue sharpening our theatrical skills in new and creative ways for our 2020/2021 season. Be prepared to read and understand dramatic literature, such as plays, musicals, and poetry. You will learn design and how colors interact with each other on stage. Acting theories and the rich history of theatre artists that helped produce them! If that isn't enough, you'll get to learn how to use and apply the tech that we utilize to build our productions.
I am incredibly excited about what this year has to offer. With a positive attitude and a strong work ethic, we can make the impossible possible on our Shepard stage. Whether it is in person, or via distanced instruction, the show goes on!
