My name is Eleuterio M. Gonzales. I grew up with the name Tim. I graduated from George W. Brackenridge High School in 1967. In 1968, I enlisted in the U.S. Navy where I worked on aircraft aboard the USS Saratoga, an aircraft carrier. Upon completion of military service in 1972, I worked at Kelly AFB, working as a sheet metal mechanic and then an aircraft welder for 30 years, I have been happily married for 47 years. I have raised 8 children, 3 biological and 5 adopted. I was a foster parent for 11 years and was elected president for Region 8 Texas Association of Foster Parents. Upon my retirement from Kelly AFB, I enrolled at Texas A& M here in San Antonio in the first class for the Department of Education. I began my career in education at Palo Alto Elementary in 2004, teaching grades First, Second, Fourth and Fifth Bilingual. In 2014, I was transferred to Roy P. Benavidez teaching Third Grade Bilingual for the past three years. I have served as associate pastor at Gateway Bilingual Church for ten years.
