• Welcome to Grease Monkey Robotics Team 457
     
    We are the oldest Robotics team in SA and the 7th oldest in Texas (there are now 153 Texas teams).  
     
    The 457 part of our name is because we were the 457th team to register for FIRST FRC robotics.  There are now over 6,000 teams across the world.
     
     FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a world wide organization. Its mission is to "inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting Mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership."
