Our district prioritizes the health and well-being of our students and will provide palliative care, basic first aid and if needed over-the-counter (OTC) medications as listed below. Our school nurses/staff are authorized to administer school-approved OTC medications when necessary to help students manage minor ailments and ensure their comfort and ability to participate in learning. These approved OTC medications have been reviewed and approved by our district's medical consultant.
If you do not wish for your child to receive approved OTC medications from the school nurse/staff please notify your school nurse directly. Your clear communication ensures we can provide the best and most personalized care for your child.
