Community Needs Assessment 2025-2026

The Community Needs Assessment helps our Head Start program understand what families in our area need most. It’s a way for us to make sure we are providing the right services and support for children and families.

Through this assessment, we examine our community’s strengths as to what’s working well and identify areas where additional help or resources may be needed. The information we collect helps us plan and improve our program so that we can better serve you and your children.

The Community Needs Assessment helps us understand and meet the needs of our children, families, and community.

HB3 Family Engagement Plan

At South San ISD (SSAISD), family engagement is our shared commitment, establishing strong, supportive partnerships between families, schools, and the community to enhance student learning and success. We recognize parents and guardians as essential partners, weaving our efforts into every part of a child's educational experience to address the whole child's needs in culturally responsive and linguistically appropriate ways, promoting the well-being and ongoing growth of children, families, and educators alike.
