Moving Toward a Cashless District (2026-2027)

South San Antonio ISD is committed to improving efficiency, security, and convenience across our district operations. Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, South San Antonio ISD will transition to a fully cashless district.

This change means that all student and district-related payments will be made electronically through approved digital payment methods.

The move to a cashless system will:
● Enhance financial security for students, families, and staff
● Reduce the handling and processing of cash on campuses
● Provide faster and more convenient payment options
● Improve accuracy and transparency in transactions

Additional information regarding approved payment platforms, timelines, and support resources will be shared with families and staff prior to implementation.
