South San Antonio ISD is proud to introduce Dr. Jennifer Gutierrez as the new Deputy Superintendent of Schools. With over 24 years of experience in education across California and Texas, Dr. Gutierrez brings deep expertise in teaching, instructional leadership, and district-level administration. Originally from Los Angeles, she has spent the past decade in San Antonio serving in key leadership roles at Northeast ISD, including Principal, Executive Director of Elementary Curriculum and Instruction, and Executive Director of School Administration. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from California State University Northridge, two master’s degrees in Education and School Administration from Pepperdine University, and earned her Ph.D in Organizational Leadership from Liberty University. Dr. Gutierrez is passionate about making a lasting impact and is committed to connecting with students, staff, and community members as she helps lead South San Antonio ISD into a new chapter of growth and transformation.
