Student Performance in Postsecondary Institutions

Student Performance in Postsecondary Institutions

Texas statute requires every school district to include, with their performance report, information received under Texas Education Code §51.403(e). This information, provided to districts from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB), reports on student performance in postsecondary institutions during the first year enrolled after graduation from high school. Student performance is measured by the Grade Point Average (GPA) earned by high school graduates who attended Texas public four-year and two-year higher education institutions in the following academic year.
