We want to make the transition to Distance Learning online as seamless as possible. Please click on the links below for step by step instructions to best utilize each program successfully.
Google Classroom - Google Classroom is a free web service, developed by Google for schools, that aims to simplify creating, distributing, and grading assignments in a paperless way. The primary purpose of Google Classroom is to streamline the process of sharing files between teachers and students.
Seesaw -Seesaw is a platform for student engagement. Teachers can empower students to create, reflect, share, and collaborate. Students “show what they know” using photos, videos, drawings, text, PDFs, and links. It’s simple to get student work in one place and share with families, and nothing is shared without teacher approval.
Chromebooks - Chromebooks are laptops or tablets running the Linux-based Chrome OS as its operating system. The devices are primarily used to perform a variety of tasks using the Google Chrome browser, with most applications and data residing in the cloud rather than on the machine itself.
Videos for distance learning - We have created a number of video tutorials to guide you through the programs the district uses for distance learning.
