    Student Chefs Miranda Martinez (left) and Naya Jaimes (right) helped South San Antonio Culinary Arts capture second place at the St. Phillips College's Best Tasting Salsa Competition on October 7, 2015. Their unique mango, cantaloupe, and cucumber salsa recipe wowed the judges and earned the two students $250 scholarships to St. Phillips College. They competed against 11 area high school in the event which is held each fall in honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month. 

    The Culinary Arts program is under the direction of Chef Robert Yoas.
