South San Antonio ISD offers leave of absence in times of medical need to eligible employees.

When an employee expects to be absent more than five consecutive work days due to a personal illness or that of a family member, medical certification must be submitted. 

Employees should contact the Benefits Department for information about applicable leave benefits, payment of insurance premiums, and requirements for communicating with the district. In addition, employees must submit all required leave of absence forms.
