I promise to uphold the aims and ideals of the International Thespian Society.  I am a student of theatre and excellence is my ideal.  I promise to perform my part as well as I can; to accept praise and criticism with grace; to cooperate with my fellow Thespians and work for the good of the troupe; and to share my love of theatre.

How to become an ITS Member

Points System

• You must earn at least 10 or more points within your induction year with South San Team Drama events.  Only 5 points will be accepted from previous year theatre participation.

• Junior Thespians, please have your Middle School Director email Mrs. Gable at jgable@southsanisd.net confirming your involvement.  This will act as your 5 pre-induction year points.

• Transfer Thespians, please have your previous high school Director email Mrs. Gable at jgable@southsanisd.net  with your updated points sheet. 

• After invited, Induction to ITS is a one time fee of $22.00. 

• After your membership is processed by the home office, a personalized membership card and a one-year (nine issues) subscription to Dramatics magazine will be mailed to your home address.

• You must earn 10 points each year in a variety of categories, such as an acting role in a production and a crew role in another production OR attending a festival as well as ushering for a production. 

• Once inducted:

•  You must participate in all productions in some capacity.

•  You are eligible to become a Team Drama Club Officer.

• You must attend ALL meetings and events

Remember to turn in your points within 1 month of each event!!!
